Context

Watch together the “Bet You Didn’t Know…” video and ask:

• What struck you as most significant in that video and why?
• To what degree is Thanksgiving still a serious event in our society and why?
• In what ways is your family most affected by this holiday?
• Why do you think people might place more emphasis on other aspects of the holidays, rather than showing their gratefulness for what God has given them?
• At what point does complacency toward God become dangerous?
