Begin by asking:
- Why do you think people sometimes have a hard time dealing with people who may have hurt them in some way?
- If someone is holding on to their pain, to what degree does the kind of hurt the other person did to them matter?
- When have you confronted someone who had previously hurt you in some way, and how did it go?
- What did you or the other person learn from it?
- What place did your faith play in how your confrontation took place?
