Context

Play the Mom Words video clip and ask:

• What are some phrases that your mom used that sound so strange now?
• If you went back in a time machine to the day after Christ’s ascension, what traditions would you tell the early followers of Jesus to follow and why?
• Which ones would you tell them to avoid and why?
• What words would you tell them to use and what words or phrases would you tell them to avoid because they sound silly now?
• What would you tell them is the “proper” way to remember Jesus’ life and death?
