• Encourage your group to listen to the Faithelement podcast ahead of the next session (Share the link via email or social media).

Context

Play the Spelling Bee video and ask:

• What was your best subject in elementary school?
• What experiences have you had with academic competition and how did they compare with this person’s experience?
• What do you usually do to cope when you find yourself in a position for which you are unprepared?
• When have you felt that, no matter how hard you try, that you could not accomplish something?
• Other than the possible input from a significant other, what does it take before you realize you are not skilled at something?
