Psalm 90:1–6, 13–17

We reflect on Psalm 90’s contrast between God’s vast, unknowable greatness and God as our intimate dwelling place and refuge. Using images of galaxies, poetry, hymns, and everyday “micro-miracles,” we admit how limited our language and certainty are, and we challenge ourselves to stop confining God to narrow categories. We discuss cultivating wonder through attention to the world around us, extending grace to others, and honestly grappling with the psalm’s skipped lines about anger, humility, and learning to count our days.
