The podcast team reflects on sibling teasing and connects it to Hagar’s story, where Ishmael’s mocking leads Sarah to drive Hagar and Ishmael into the wilderness. We explore the pain of being unseen by people yet seen by God, the invisible labor many mothers carry, and God’s small daily signs of care. We hold together Hagar’s suffering and her strength, noting her faith, resilience, and naming God as El Roi, “the God who sees me,” and we challenge ourselves and our churches to notice and include those we overlook.
