We trade stories about our worst cars, then reflect on Matthew 28:16–20 as Jesus entrusting imperfect, doubting disciples with an overwhelming mission. We frame “make disciples” as an invitation lived through grace, love, and real relationships rather than coercion, while acknowledging past misuses of the text. We emphasize that we’re never alone in this work, that faith and doubt coexist, and that discipleship is practiced “as we go” in everyday life, learning and trying again as we’re trusted to carry the message forward.
