In this episode, we discuss where we turn for help, then connect that need to Acts 2:14 and 36–41, where confused listeners ask Peter what to do and he calls them to repent, be baptized, and “save yourselves from this corrupt generation,” as 3,000 join the church. We reflect on mistrust, shrinking church affiliation, violence, and the difficulty of true repentance as a shift in thinking and living, including societal failures to repair past harms. We urge our church to speak out for the oppressed, be louder in public life, and try new, Spirit-led practices—even risking failure—as first steps toward redemption.
