Ezekiel 37:1-14

We open the episode with stories of fixing what seems beyond repair, then turn to Ezekiel 37:1–14 and the valley of dry bones. We place the text in Israel’s exile, hear God ask, “Can these bones live?”, and see that Ezekiel only shows up and speaks while God gives life and breath. We connect this to our own valleys: pandemic dread, broken communities, political and social injustice, and faltering faith, asking whether we still believe God will act. We conclude that our calling is to position ourselves in hopeless places, be witnesses, and creatively, even “weirdly,” proclaim hope as we move through Lent toward Easter.
