– Review today’s scripture text and the session activities to help better facilitate the discussion.
– Have the Bible Background Video ready to view.
– Encourage your group to listen to the Faithelement podcast ahead of the next session (Share the link via email or social media).
Context
Begin by showing these words on a whiteboard, paper or screen: Fire, Wind, Water. Explain that the work of the Spirit is both mysterious and yet something we feel and know is present. Note that our language can make it difficult to capture the full sense of “Spirit” and so we often use images like fire, wind and water to help us explain what the Spirit is like.
