Facilitator: In advance of the session
- Review today’s scripture text and the session activities to help better facilitate the discussion.
- Have the Bible Background Video ready to view.
- Encourage your group to listen to the FaithElement podcast ahead of the next session (Share the link via email or social media).
Context
To begin the session, tell a story from your past of something that you had hopes would go well, but ended up being a bad experience. For example, a fishing or camping trip that was a disaster; a meal you were preparing that ended up being embarrassing or inedible; something you were trying to build/sew/paint/etc that was a failure.
