- Encourage your group to listen to the FaithElement podcast ahead of the next session (Share the link via email or social media).
Context
Play the “Book of Life” video and ask:
- What are some of your favorite movies with the motif of a damsel in distress and why do you think that motif works in movies?
- Why does that particular damsel not seem in distress?
- To what degree do you think if that animated character was a real-life person, they would always be confident?
- How do you think she reacts to true distress?
- In what ways do you commonly react to true distress and feeling alone?
