Facilitator: In advance of the session
- Review today’s scripture text and the session activities to help better facilitate the discussion.
- Have the Bible Background Video ready to view.
- Encourage your group to listen to the FaithElement podcast ahead of the next session (Share the link via email or social media).
Context
Distribute pens and paper to participants. Then say, “We all want the best possible future for our children and grandchildren. Today I’d like you to create 2 columns on your paper. One should be ‘things I would remove’; and one would be ‘things I would add’. Then take a few moments to place some thoughts in each column about how you would remove or add things in order to create a wonderful future for today’s children.”
