Context
Play the “Torah Math” movie clip and ask:
- How do you feel when you hear people quoting the Biblical text predicting something that will happen in the future and why?
- What were you thinking when they started getting specific about Math and Hebrew?
- What do you think of the idea that sometimes Hebrew language does work like math?
- If numbers tend to represent things in Hebrew and Jewish apocalyptic literature, how does it affect the way we interpret the original intention of the writer?
