- What is the narrator afraid will happen?
- Why does he seem so sad to see objectives reached destroying things valued in the past?
- Which image of nature being changed or damaged did you see as most distressing? According to the narrator, how have the “once enslaved been made free to sell themselves to the highest bidder and best-paying prisons?”
- What is the narrator trying to convey about how we look and see life?
