Play the Three Little Pigs video and ask:

• Why, in childhood stories, does it always seem that a scary enemy like a wolf or a witch is always coming for someone seemingly helpless?
• What are some other animals that the Biblical writers often used to show a vulnerable and dependent animal?
• In Bible stories, who are sheep dependent upon and why?
• What is the role of the shepherd in the lives of the sheep?
