Introduction
Mark 13 is often called the “Little Apocalypse” because its tone and content reflect that of the book of The Revelation. In our context these verses serve as a wake up call as we consider them on this first Sunday of Advent.
Scripture: Mark 13:24-37
Then they will see ‘the Son of Man coming in clouds’ with great power and glory. Then he will send out the angels, and gather his elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.
