Website Development

Project Overview

We develop your new website in stages. As we complete each section, we’ll ask for sign-off, allowing us to move to the next stage.

=

Structure

Focus is on the menus/pages (which are included, what are they named, and in what sequence do they appear?) and on the homepage (what info needs to be featured).
=

Design

Focus is on setting the colors, typography and other visual settings. A homepage look will be offered, along with 2-3 interior page layouts.
=

Build-Out

Using the structure and design decisions, we add the full set of pages and format content. Having content for interior pages is critical to the progress of site development.
=

Wrap-Up

Now it’s time to add extra features included in your project, including forms, e-commerce/donations, member area, calendar, etc. We also add a few news posts and sermons at this stage.
=

Training

If your project includes training, we provide access to a training video. Logins are provided for those who will be making edits. Edits should be limited to TEXT EDITS only until after launch.
=

Launch

Launch is a process, and can take as much as a day or so to roll out across the Internet. We will need your domain name admin area login in order to launch your site.

Hosting

Will my new site be secure?
Your content goes here.
How do I find the admin login for my domain name?
Your content goes here.
What rollback (backup and recovery) options exist with Faithlab?
The server does a daily backup and keeps these for a month. We can roll back to a given date as needed. Also, WordPress and Divi both have revision systems that allow you to roll back to earlier content or design versions for a given post, page or module.

Content

I'm preparing new content for my site. What's the best way to do this?
Your content goes here.
Will I be able to easily update my new site?
Your content goes here.
How do you recommend we go about photo releases?
We have a general photo-release form that you can use to collect signatures. We often recommend that churches select a well-attended children’s event (like VBS or an Easter egg hunt) to make these forms available. This way you’ll have the best chance at getting signatures all at once. Our sample photo/video release form is attached. Feel free to use it/customize it however you’d like! **LINK TO FILE

Features

I want to offer livestream on my site. What do you recommend?
We recommend using any of the established third-party provides such as Facebook, Youtube or Vimeo Live for live-streaming services. We can either link to or embed your livestream, based on the livestreams permissions.
