Introduction

Today we are continuing together in 1 Peter 1:17-23. In this week’s verses, the writer of the letter has moved from a description of the work of Christ to explaining what that means for these new Christians and what it calls them to in their new lives in Christ.

Scripture: 1 Peter 1:17-23

If you invoke as Father the one who judges all people impartially according to their deeds, live in reverent fear during the time of your exile. You know that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your ancestors, not with perishable things like silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without defect or blemish.

Update: Due to the affects of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, most Bible study groups are finding themselves meeting virtually, if at all. In an effort to be responsive to your emerging needs in these times, we are changing our format to make it more accessible for home use.
