Introduction

Today we are looking together at the gospel of Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43, the parable of the Wheat and the Tares. In the parable, Jesus compares the Kingdom of God can be compared to someone who sows good seed in his field. Then an enemy comes in the night and sows weeds in among the wheat.

Scripture: Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43

“Listen! A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell on the path, and the birds came and ate them up. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and they sprang up quickly, since they had no depth of soil. But when the sun rose, they were scorched; and since they had no root, they withered away.”

Session Pages

Update: Due to the affects of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, most Bible study groups are finding themselves meeting virtually, if at all. In an effort to be responsive to your emerging needs in these times, we are changing our format to make it more accessible for home use. Faithelement is adding a new “Connect” session page, and combining youth and media during this time. “Connect” is designed to work with virtual forms of keeping connected with your group. The youth page also now does not assume a group activity time. We plan to return to our usual session page set when groups are again able to meet in person. Please advise us on how we might better serve your needs in these trying times.
