David Cassady
David is the co-founder and president of Faithlab, a publishing and communications firm focused on helping churches and religious non-profit organizations.
He earned a B.A. in Religion and Philosophy from Ouachita Baptist University, studied philosophy at Baylor University, and received an M.Div. C.E. and a Ph.D. in Christian Education from Southern Seminary. David has served as minister in churches in Arkansas and Kentucky, including 7 years as Associate Pastor at Buechel Park Baptist Church in Louisville.
David is renowned for his short attention span, which he credits for gaining a wide variety of interests including the future of the church, Christian education, technology and photography.
He also regularly teaches philosophy and religion courses as an adjunct at Wesleyan College, an historic women’s college in Macon, Georgia.
When not rooting for the Arkansas Razorbacks (Go Hogs!), he likes to annoy his family, listen to jazz and classic rock, smoke meat on his Big Green Egg, tinker with his vintage computer collection and visit with his pals at Waffle House.

Bert Montgomery
Bert has used his ministerial powers to officially declare Willie Nelson a saint; he has sat inside the Allman Brothers Band’s tour bus; and he once hung out with Arlo Guthrie in the legendary church of “Alice’s Restaurant” fame.
The good folks at the University Baptist Church of Starkville, MS, call Bert their pastor. Some students at Mississippi State University call him their teacher. And, readers of his four books call Bert their favorite author of all time. (That last one is an unconfirmed rumor, but everything else is completely true.)
His writings have also appeared at FaithLab, Huffington Post, Burnside Writer’s Collective, Red Letter Christians, and elsewhere. Because of his blues-inspired message “God’s Got His Mojo Workin’,” Bert has earned the nickname “The Minister of Mojo.”
Bert studied at Mississippi State University, Union University, Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, Mississippi College, Memphis Theological Seminary, and the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky. He actually hung around long enough to get degrees from three of them.

Daniel Glaze
Daniel is a husband, father, and pastor in Ahoskie, North Carolina. He came to First Baptist Church in November of 2006. The staff at FBC considers him their own Michael Scott, just not as self-aware.
He is a graduate of Georgetown College, Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond, and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Daniel came to Ahoskie from the First Baptist Church of Frankfort, Kentucky, where he served as Pastoral Resident, a pilot program funded by the Lilly Foundation and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship.
Daniel is married to Andrea, an Industrial-Organizational psychologist (which basically means she’s much smarter than Daniel is). They are the proud parents of two daughters, Ella and Ashley, who are the proud owners of a spirited and frisbee-loving Australian Shepherd named Micah. For Sabbath time, Daniel enjoys family activities, searching for the best cup of coffee, channeling his inner chef, and learning photography.

Nikki Hardeman
Rev. Nikki Carroll Hardeman is currently serving as the Minister to Youth and their Families at the First Baptist Church of Forsyth in Georgia, and she is the Online Personality for FaithElement, a small group Bible study curriculum. In addition to these ministries, Nikki pursues her vocational ministry through retreat-leading and supply-preaching. Nikki graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Mercer University in 2002 and from the McAfee School of Theology with a Master of Divinity in 2005.
While at Mercer, Nikki met her husband, Daniel, and they married following graduation. After McAfee, Nikki served as the Pastoral Resident at the First Baptist Church in Rome, Georgia, and then as the Associate Coordinator for Congregational Life at the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of Georgia. She has also enjoyed the opportunity to adjunct-teach Old Testament at Mercer Univeristy.
Daniel and Nikki have two children at home: Natalie, a curious and sensitive eight-year-old and Liam, a very busy four-year-old. They also have a lovable rat terrrier, Jayne. When she has a free moment, Nikki enjoys traveling, watching great T.V. shows on Netflix, taking on new projects around the house, and learning to quilt.
