Before the Session

• Review today’s scripture text and the session activities to help better facilitate the discussion.
• Have the Bible Background Video ready to view.
• Encourage your group to listen to the FaithElement podcast ahead of the next session (Share the link via email or social media)
• Materials needed: Make a focal point in the room that includes the elements for the Lord’s Supper (small pitcher with grape juice or wine, cup or chalice or wineglass, plate with bread wrapped in a cloth napkin), a large bowl with water, a towel; you might also want to include candles, small tablecloth, flowers, etc.
