Holy, Holy, Holy

Session 8.06 Starter

Introduction

God is most certainly holy, set apart, and other than us. At the same time, God is imminent, close, incarnate and intimately involved with us. God’s holiness causes us to stop in our tracks and pause in reverence, yet God is also close enough to know us intimately and to forgive us individually. How do you experience the holiness of God?

Scripture: Psalm 99

The Lord is king; let the peoples tremble! He sits enthroned upon the cherubim; let the earth quake!
The Lord is great in Zion; he is exalted over all the peoples.
Let them praise your great and awesome name. Holy is he!
