Intro

Find two or three items that people would not readily associate together, such as a feather, a band-aid, and a battery. While holding them where they are visible to the group, bring the group together and tell them that you want them to choose sides for an activity you are planning. Form as many teams as you need to ensure that there are no more than six people on a team by first having the group select the team captains, then having the captains take turns choosing their teammates. While the teams are being formed, do not tell them anything about the activity, but encourage them to make assumptions based on the objects you’re holding.
