• Review today’s scripture text and the session activities to help better facilitate the discussion.
• Have the Bible Background Video ready to view.
• Encourage your group to listen to the Faithelement podcast ahead of the next session (Share the link via email or social media).
• Preview both video clips below and confirm the links still play. If the Nepal clip becomes unavailable, search for a recent news report on the August 26 Langtang glacier collapse and substitute it. If the All Saints clip becomes unavailable, read the plaque’s wording aloud instead.
• The first story is a fresh mass-casualty disaster, and the second touches race and the church’s own history. Both can slide toward political argument. Set the expectation at the start that the group is there to let Ezekiel interrogate the news.
