Describe Pope Leo’s Jubilee of Youth-A Million Young Pilgrims in Rome: “In late July 2025, the Jubilee of Youth brought more than one million young people to Rome, where Leo connected with the crowd by speaking directly to them in English, Spanish, and Italian, and told them: “Aspire to great things, to holiness, wherever you are. Do not settle for less.” Happening amid widespread anxiety about religious disengagement among young people globally, the gathering carried the character of what Spirit-led traditions have called kairos, a convergence of time and Spirit that opens unexpected possibilities. The response to the event raises an honest theological question: whether what is being witnessed is genuine transformation or enthusiastic momentum. The Spirit, as always, is discerned over time.”
