Intro

Say: “The Pianist” is a 2002 film directed by Roman Polanski, based on the life of Władysław Szpilman, a Polish-Jewish pianist during World War II. The movie follows Szpilman’s struggle for survival in the Warsaw Ghetto and his eventual escape and survival in war-torn Warsaw. It portrays his resilience and love for music amid the horrors of the Holocaust.
