Review together the UBS website on Wealth Inequality, calling attention to the statements in bold print next to each economist’s introduction. Ask:
– What do you know about the issues surrounding wealth inequality in our society and the world at large?
– Understanding that the site we reviewed is created by a very large investment bank, how do you feel about the quotes they chose to post for each economist and why?
– Where do you think the gap between the richest and poorest members of our society is most likely to affect you personally?
– At what points does this gap affect the way your faith community does things?
– Why should people of faith be concerned about major controversial issues like this?
