Context

Say, the film “Into the Wild” is based on the life and death of Chris McCandless, a young man from a well-to-do family who gave up all his worldly possessions and hitchhiked throughout the U.S., to Alaska, between 1990 and 1992. Chris met people along the way who he interacted with and who helped him in various ways. One of those was Ronald Franz, who became a father figure for him. Let’s watch this short scene from the film.
