Context
Remind the group that In Texas, Gov. Abbott and the state government has taken over the Houston School District. They have brought in an appointed superintendent and removed the elected school board, who made getting rid of libraries one of the first actions and turn them into rooms where troubled students will study. At a meeting, a parent waited to address the governor’s appointed school leader. Ask:
