Context
Remind the group of Daniel’s introduction, focusing on the concept of Isaiah’s “suffering servant” as it compares to modern times. Ask:
- At what points are you glimpsing “light” these days despite all the bad news?
- Which big things make you most hopeful for the future and why?
- Assuming that everyone is looking for some light in their world, what sort of people tend to most provide “light” for you and how do they do it?
- Who has personally been light to you?
- In what ways might you be a light to others?
