Show the video of King Charles III’s coronation and remind the group that King Charles waited for a long time to become the monarch, as he was the longest-serving heir apparent in British history. He was 73 years old when he was crowned and had been the Prince of Wales since 1958. Some people might wonder if it was worth the wait, or if he would have preferred to become king earlier in his life.
