Context

Play the “Noah’s Ark” video and ask:

• What was your favorite Bible story from childhood (or what Bible story did you most often hear)?
• Why do people paint the narrative of Noah and other biblical stories on the walls of their children’s rooms?
• At what point is it appropriate to share the extended story behind such pictures, rather than the sanitized versions that are more likely to be shared?
• What biblical narrative you heard in your childhood that has most meaning now, as an adult, and why?
• In what way does our choice of preferred narratives reflect our faith?

Have someone read aloud Luke 19:1-10 then play the Bible Background Video and ask:
