Play the “Benz” video and ask:
- Why were people afraid of her vehicle?
- Why is it we are afraid of anything we do not understand?
- How do you think Bertha managed to be calm and not lash out in anger with the people of the village?
- Why do you think the young girl helped her?
- How easy was it to make that journey while being loving to other people, and how can we manage to be kind under similar circumstances?
