Before the Session
- Have the Bible Background Video ready to view.
- Review today’s scripture text and the session activities to help better facilitate the discussion.
- Encourage your group to listen to the FaithElement podcast ahead of the next session (Share the link via email or social media).
Context (From the Current Session Page)
Share the story about volunteers who went to the U.S.’s Southern Border to serve those seeking asylum and ask:

- What are some fears that might keep you from serving?
- Which current events would test whether or not you could put your fears aside to serve and witness?
- What are some things that might force us to overcome our fears, despite how well-advised those fears may be?
