Introduction

We begin this new year of 2021 by looking together at Paul’s letter to the Christian church in Ephesus in the first chapter, verses 3-14. And while we are indeed celebrating a new calendar year, in the church year we look forward to the celebration epiphany and the coming of the Magi that we celebrate each year on January 6.

Scripture: Ephesians 1:3-14

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

Update: Due to the effects of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, most Bible study groups are finding themselves meeting virtually, if at all. In an effort to be responsive to your emerging needs in these times, we are changing our format to make it more accessible for home use.
