Introduction

This week we are in the book of Jeremiah 8:18-9:3 and in this passage we see why Jeremiah earns the name “The Weeping Prophet”. In this passage, Jeremiah is heartsick because the Israelites have ignored God’s calls to repentance and he sees their destruction as imminent.
