Context
Play the “Counting Lions” clip and ask:
- How surprising is it that lions can count in such a specific way and why?
- Given their reputation for ferocity, why do you think lions always try to outnumber the apparent enemy?
- Other than “calculating the odds” in what ways does this video show lions as having some things in common with people?
- In a metaphorical sense, how do we “outnumber our enemies” in our daily lives?
- How do we handle enemies that we cannot seem to get away from?
